WHAT WE BELIEVE
Together, we can create a California where everyone can thrive. We believe most of us want the same things. We want to earn enough to thrive, not just survive, and leave a better future for our kids. We want healthy food and clean water, safe neighborhoods and a safe world. We want to be free.
But the richest people on Earth — and the political insiders that serve them — have rigged the rules of our economy and democracy to grab up wealth and power for themselves. They want to divide and distract us from what we have in common.

We organize on top of and around the two party system to advocate for consumers, counter corporate power, and elect champions for working families.
We don't do protest votes or spoiler campaigns — we build real governing power:
• Identify, recruit, and support progressive candidates to offices at every level, from school boards to U.S. Congress (more than 100 so far!)
• Write and win bold policies, working with our allies and elected officials to turn campaign promises into real change for California consumers (like banning AI-enabled price fixing) and communities
• Organize California's communities and consumers. We’re a multiracial party that fights for workers over bosses and people over the powerful (and we hope you join us!)

CA WFP represents a coalition of more than 30 grassroots organizations and labor unions, with nearly 100,000 members across every region of California.
And that's who we're accountable to — everyday consumers and community members, not corporations or billionaires.
